Why We Created Job Seeking Programs

A roundup list of a few reasons why you may not be getting job offers:

  • Your resume is not tailored to specific positions - it’s a little too generic or you’re not painting a solid picture of your career journey

  • You’re not customizing enough of your cover letters or emails - the copy and paste situation that tends to happen is a huge red flag

  • You’re applying to too many jobs and not narrowing your search to the right qualifications

  • You’re applying to too few jobs and are not opening up to the possibilities outside of your current experience

  • Your nerves are coming through too much in your interviews and are getting in the way of showing off your expertise

  • You’re not actually showing enough interest in a job and fail to follow-up with recruiters and hiring managers on the application process

  • You’re not asking companies questions during the interview and appearing uninterested in the position

  • Your LinkedIn profile doesn’t match your resume and employers aren’t sure which information is consistent - and in turn, assuming that you’re lying somewhere

  • You’ve been out of work for a long time and your morale has started to sink

  • You’ve been in the same type of job for a long time and don’t feel that you’re qualified enough for anything else

This list could seriously go on forever.

So why did we do it? Because the reason why you’re not able to land a job or being given offers is completely unique to your situation. Depending on where you are in your job search, your struggles are not the same as everyone else.
